Epilepsy Awareness with PRN Medication

This course provides an awareness of epilepsy and includes the recognition features and management of someone experiencing a seizure. The course can be extended to include the administration of rescue medication and is aimed at healthcare professionals, carers, teachers and parents who care for people with epilepsy.

Assessment & certification

Multiple-choice question paper.

Successful students receive a certificate of attendance valid for 3 years.

Course corresponds to NQF learning outcomes at level 3.
