Food Safety Level 3

This course can be tailored to meet business and individual needs.

Changes in legislation effective from January 2006 have placed greater onus and accountability on anyone in the food business with supervisory responsibility. It is therefore vital they are equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to do their job effectively.

This course will provide candidates with the knowledge and understanding needed to implement and supervise food safety management systems. The course will allow candidates to develop their understanding on conduction of food safety procedures; supervising others to maintain safety standards; safe receipt and storage of food and safety preparations and cooking, holding and serving of food.

Summative multiple-choice assessment

Successful students receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

Course corresponds to NQF learning outcomes at level 3.
